Electromagnetic Force

The electromagnetic force is simply how the negative charges attract to the possative charges, and the alike charges repel. A real life example would be a magnet, any magenet. If you take two magnets you will see that two sides will attract and two sides will repel. Of two sides that attract one is negative and one is posative. Of the two sides that repel both are either posative or negative. But that probably isn't knew to any of you. I like melissa's example of the color wheel . It's true that the colors opposite of each other seem to fit well together. A good example i got from Chelsey in my comments is christmas colors green and red. Another example that a lot of people seem to agree with is opposite poeple attract. If a couple of friends or mates had everything in common and had no differences they wouldn't have anything new to talk about or to share with each other. But if they are different and have a lot of opposite characteristics they have something to talk about and new activities to try.

How has this caused change?

With out the electromagnetic force atoms would not be able to bond to form elements, and therefore we wouldn't have life. Because the opposite charges attract atoms can bond and just be atoms. The electrons stay close to the nucleus, because the electrons are negative and the nucleus is posative.

i agree quite a bit with just about everything you said. i liked how you, unlike most everyone else went into detail about magnets. i also agree with you and melissa said about opposite colors on the color wheel attract. a good example of this are the christmas colors red and green. The next thing i liked that you brought up was what you said about personalities. i strongly agree with this and what marcus said also, "Now on the other hand, when you put two loud people together, neither one gets to talk enough, so they don't like each other. Pair two quiet people together, and it's just awkward, so they won't be friends." Lastly, i liked what you said about the electromagnetic force causing change except one thing what exactally were you talking about when you said "...atoms can bond and just be atoms." did you mean they can just be neutral and not have a problem?

The opposite personalities example is pretty cool because you wouldn't think someone who is really organized and up-tight would like someone who's messy and obnoxious and yet it seems a lot of couples are like that. I think it's that way because the up-tight person wants to go crazy sometimes and have fun which the obnoxious person would give them and the messy person needs someone to help them keep a steady life which is what the organized person would give.
